Coker Men Set to Take on Queens in SAC Tilt

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team will be back at home on Tuesday (Nov. 25) to take on the Royals of Queens University of Charlotte beginning at 8 p.m. Live stats and broadcast will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras come into the matchup with a 2-2 overall and 1-1 in conference record after a 69-60 road victory over the Carson-Newman Eagles.

The Navy and Yellow have four players averaging 10-plus points a game so far this season. Errick Bethel's 23.8 points a game is a team high as well second best in the South Atlantic Conference. Larry Felder checks in averaging 15.8 points a game and pulling down nearly seven rebounds. Donte Samuels and Trey Marshall are each averaging 10.5 and 10 points per contest. As a team, the Cobras are shooting a SAC second best 51 percent from the field.

The Royals hit the road sporting a 1-3 overall and 1-1 in conference record after a 66-51 loss to Lincoln Memorial. They are led by the junior duo of Rob Lewis and Sean Morgan who are averaging 17.5 and 13.2 points a game this season.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 25). Tickets are $15 dollars for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
