Cobras Will Battle the Tornado on Saturday

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's basketball team will be looking to keep their hot streak going when they take the floor on Saturday (Jan. 26) against the Tornado of King University. Live coverage of the game will be available for the game at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras have won two in a row, with their most recent victory coming on Thursday (Jan. 24) at Pfeiffer, 64-51. Julian Nelson was Coker's leading scorer against the Falcons with 17 points, four assists and three rebounds, while Andrew Morris knocked down 13 points and three rebounds off the bench.  Currently, the Cobras are 8-8 overall and 5-5 in Conference Carolinas play. They are tied for fifth in the league standings.

King (13-3, 8-2) enters the game in second place in the league standings. Most recently they narrowly defeated Limestone 76-73.  Senior Eddie Piccinini is the team's leading scorer, averaging 15.1 points per game.

Tip-off for the Conference Carolinas game is scheduled for 4 p.m. following the women's game at 2 p.m.
