Coker Field Hockey Falls to Limestone in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Championship Semifinals

GAFFNEY, S.C. - The fourth-seeded Coker College field team traveled to Limestone to take on the first-seeded Saints in the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas semifinals Friday (Nov. 16) afternoon. The Cobras fell 1-0 to the Saints to end their season. The Navy and Gold finished the regular season with a 6-6 overall record and 5-5 conference record before falling to Limestone in their first season since the program returned to Coker.

After a scoreless first half, the Saints tallied the lone goal in the contest in the 41st minute.

Kelly Mason led the Cobras with two shots and one on goal. Kaleigh Cordrey and Amelia Gajewski recorded one shot each. In goal, Kelsey Gibbons collected six saves.
