HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College Hearthstone B team played against University of Texas-Arlington on Monday (Mar. 4) in the second round of the Tespa Collegiate Series.
Both teams came into this competition 1-0 in matches and 3-0 in games. The Cobras started off strong with both their Odd Rogue and Odd Paladin deck by taking a pair of very fast wins against UT-Arlington's Even Warlock deck. Next was Coker's Odd Mage deck versus UT-Arlington's Mind Blast Priest and Coker yet again was able to put them under pressure in the early game. Coker was able to get their Jan'alai by turn six and once played on turn seven, UT-Arlington was not able to get it off the board leading to a Coker win. This win puts the Coker Cobras at 2-0 in the Hearthstone Series.
