HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College Esports team completed week three of Overwatch Opens Division action by splitting their matches this weekend. The Navy and Gold highlighted competition with a 3-0 sweep of WildHeart Academy.
The Cobras first challenge was against Discount Avengers who are in their first Open Division as a team together, but consist of many well-known players. Although the Cobras dropped the game 3-0, they used the defeat as a learning experience and prepared themselves for their next game against WildHeart Academy. After a very close fight on Nepal, the Cobras won a decisive victory on Rialto after a great ult combination by Andrew Schick, Dalton King, and Michael Ponton. WildHeart Academy started to fight back on Anubis, but the Cobras had a very quick 37 second full cap in the second round.
