HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Members of the Coker spirit squad recently took part in the 9/11 Day of Service and spent time working the 2nd Annual Kalmia Gardens 5K on Saturday (Sept. 6) in Hartsville. The squad handed cups of water and shared encouraging words with the runners as they made their way through the race.
"It was great to get out in the community and give back," said junior Samantha Martrano. "The best part was seeing the children running with their parents and see their faces light up when we cheered them on into the finish line."
