KODAK, Tenn. — The Coker College baseball team fell to Wingate 3-1 in the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Thursday (Apr. 25).
Jon Koski was superb on the mound, pitching a complete game and striking out 10 batters with a devastating curveball that the Bulldogs struggled with all night.
Casey Demko led the way offensively, notching two hits while Gavin Matthews, Reilly Hall, and Lake Lybrand tallied a hit apiece.
The loss marks the end of another successful season for the navy and gold, reaching the SAC Championships for the third time in the past four seasons.
