Cobras Drop Midweek Tilt With Belmont Abbey

BELMONT, N.C. - The Coker College baseball team dropped a midweek non-conference game on 10-2 at Belmont Abbey on Wednesday (Mar. 13).

Harrison Morris led the Cobras offensively on the day with a pair of hits and a walk to reach base three times. Lake Lybrand, Larry McCabe, R.J. Ball, and Evan Pawlowski each tallied one hit while Ball and Lybrand drove in both of the Coker runs. Tanner Wofford got the nod on the mound and tossed five innings, allowing just four hits and three unearned runs. 

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday (Mar. 15) for the opening game of their South Atlantic Conference series at Wingate starting at 6:00 PM.
