Cobras Fall to Jaguars in Non-Conference Action

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College baseball team fell to the Augusta Jaguars in a non-conference game on Tuesday (Feb. 26).

Casey Demko notched four hits, Matt Swiderski collected three hits, and Chase Bruno and Reilly Hall each picked up a pair of hits on the afternoon. Grant Thompson doubled in a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to extend his hitting streak to 14 games.

Jonathan Ford was excellent in relief for the Cobras, pitching 3.1 scoreless innings while striking out two batters.

The Cobras will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Charlotte to face Queens in South Atlantic Conference action on Friday (Mar. 1) and Saturday (Mar. 2). First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 on Saturday.
