HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball's Forrest Arnold was named Astroturf South Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league announced today.
Arnold flirted with perfection last Friday (Apr. 14) against Brevard, taking the bid into the ninth inning. Arnold went on to finish his second complete-game shutout of the season, with Coker getting the 5-0 win. The 6-10 right-hander issued only one walk, one hit and struck out six in his effort.
Arnold, from West Columbia, S.C. is the son of Heather Castles and Malcolm Arnold and is a sports management major.
