Cobras Host Brevard in Final Regular Season SAC Series

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball will host Brevard in their final South Atlantic Conference regular season series this weekend (Apr. 14-15). Video and live stats will be available for all three games at www.cokercobras.com.

Coker (19-18, 9-12 SAC) last played on Tuesday (Apr. 11) when they fell to No. 25 North Greenville 10-1.

Thomas Lopez's .347 batting average is leading the Cobras on the year, and is also 21st in the conference. Lopez's 31 RBI are also a team-high total and rank 22nd in the league. Griffin Hollifield comes into the series third in the league in saves with five. 

Brevard comes into the weekend 10-30 and 3-15 in the conference. Brayden Morris is hitting for a team-high .354 average, while Schuyler Martire is hitting .345.

First pitch on Friday is set for 3:00 p.m. at Tom J. New Field at Dave Schmotzer Stadium. Saturday will be a doubleheader starting with a nine-inning game at 12:00 p.m. followed by a seven-inning game starting at 3:00 p.m. Tickets for the games are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
