Late Inning Rally Pushes Railsplitters Past Cobras

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team fell 9-4 on Sunday (Apr. 12) in their South Atlantic Conference series finale against the visiting Lincoln Memorial University RailsplittersSunday's game was also senior day for the seven seniors that make up the Coker baseball roster.

An eight-run ninth inning would propel LMU to the 9-4 victory. Miguel Frias and Bryson Conner led the way for the Navy and Yellow offensively. Frias belted a solo home run in bottom of the sixth inning in route to a 2-for-4 day at the plate. Conner also went 2-for-4 with a run scored. 

Dallas Baldwin suffered the loss. He scattered nine hits and four earned runs in eight innings of work. 

The Cobras will be on a six-game road trip to close out their 2015 regular season campaign. They will travel to Mars Hill University tomorrow (Apr. 13) for a SAC doubleheader.
