Cobras Host Pioneers in Three-Game SAC Series

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team will be back at the friendly confines of Tom J. New Field on Friday and Saturday (Apr. 3-4) for a South Atlantic Conference series against the visiting Tusculum College Pioneers. Game one is slated for Friday at noon, while games two and three are set for noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday. Live stats and broadcast will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are led offensively by Sammy Song and Bryson Conner, both have a team-high 21 RBIs. Song also has a .363 batting average. Dustin Russell has a .337 batting average to go along with 17 RBIs. Jack Leech is batting .319 with 20 RBIs.

Dallas Baldwin leads the Navy and Yellow pitching staff with three wins on the season. 

Tusculum travels to Hartsville with a 21-10 overall and a 15-5 in conference record. They are led by Jim Tolle and his .388 batting average and 21 RBIs.

Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
