Coker Drops Two to Anderson

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team dropped games one and two of their three-game South Atlantic Conference series on Saturday (Mar. 7) against the Anderson University Trojans.

In game one, Bryson Connor and Alex Rodriguez had multi-hit games. Rodriguez also picked up an RBI. Sammy Song went a perfect 1-for-1 at the plate, plated two RBIs and scored two runs. Miguel Frias and Dustin Russell also had an RBI each.

In game two, Michael Orlowski and Frias each went 4-for-4. Russell had a team-high two RBIs. Will Winslow, Jack Leech, Song and Frias also plated an RBI each.

Forrest Arnold (1-4) suffered the lost in game one. He gave up 12 earned runs over four innings. Anthony Scaccia (0-1) was hit with the lost in game two. He gave up seven runs over three and two-thirds innings.

The Cobras will wrap up the three-game series Sunday (Mar. 8) with the final game beginning at noon at Tom J. New Field.
