Coker Baseball Eyeing Non-Conference Win over Knights

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team will be back at home on Tuesday (Feb. 17) to take on the visiting St. Andrews University Knights in a non-conference matchup. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Tom J. New Field with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.

Coker holds a 2-1 record on the season in non-conference games, and Tuesday's game will be game five of Coker's nine-game home stand.

The Navy and Yellow are led offensively by catcher Dustin Russell. Russell is batting a team best .438 along with driving in five RBIs. The pitching staff is led by Forrest Arnold who has a team-low 3.38 ERA.

The Knights travel to Hartsville with a 3-7 overall record.

Tickets for the game are available at the gate. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and all Coker faculty, staff and students get in free.
