Cobra Baseball Adds Two for 2015-16 Season

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head baseball coach Dave Schmotzer announced today that Salvatore Ernie Geraci and Jeremy Parker have agreed to play for the Cobras. They will join the squad in the fall of 2015.

"We are thrilled to have Ernie and Jeremy join the Cobra baseball family," said Schmotzer. "Both of these young men are outstanding baseball players and people. We look forward to what the future holds for them at Coker."

Geraci is an outfielder and first baseman from East Moriches, N.Y., where he attends Westhampton Beach High School. He is a four-year member of the Hurricanes baseball team and was named captain for his senior season.

He is the son of Ernie and Lynnette Geraci.  He plans on majoring in business administration while at Coker.

Parker is a pitcher, third baseman and shortstop from Monroe, N.C., where he attends Parkwood High School. He is a member of the Rebels wrestling and baseball team.

He is the son of Gary and Amy Parker. He is currently an undecided major.
