TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Nathan Wilson (Milliken, Colo.) had a pair of hits and Brinley Griffin (Port St. John, Fla.) drove in a run for the Cobra baseball team in their 10-1 loss to North Greenville University on Monday.
Andrew Goot (Oldsmar, Fla.) (6-3) suffered the loss in the final game of the three-game Conference Carolinas series between the Cobras and the Crusaders. He allowed eight runs on seven hits with three strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work.
In addition to Wilson and Griffin's offensive production, Frank Suarez (Miami, Fla.) had a double and Lucas Britt (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) was 1-for-2.
The Cobras will return to the diamond on Tuesday when they hit the road to take on Paine College in a non-conference game at 3 p.m. in Augusta, Ga.
