The Cobras Make it Five in Row with a 5-2 Win Over Claflin

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team extended their winning streak to five games on Tuesday with a 5-2 win over the Claflin Panthers in 11 innings. The win improves the Cobras to 10-8 on the season.

Senior Matt Bowman (Streator, Ill.) (3-0) earned his third win of the season working in relief for the Cobras.

Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, Chad Nader's (Rock Hill, S.C.) hot bat continued against the Panthers, as he collected a pair of hits to lead the offense.

Coker will return home for a three-game series this weekend against King College. The Cobras and the Tornado will play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon and finish up with a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
