In Durham's tenure, 11 Cobras were named to the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll. Deja Robinson was selected to the Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference Team.

Coker University announced Britteny Durham as the first head coach of the acrobatics and tumbling program.

Durham spent the previous two seasons assisting with all aspects of the acrobatics and tumbling program at Glenville State. In addition to her duties as an assistant coach, Durham taught the acrobatics and tumbling gymnastics class at Glenville State, and worked as a cheer revolution instructor to students ranging from elementary to high school.

In her role as an assistant, she led practices and strength and conditioning programs for 18 student-athletes, while reporting to the head coach on athlete development and skill progress. She was also responsible for creating graphics to promote the team, fundraising, and community outreach activities.

Prior to moving into a coaching role, Durham was an acrobatics and tumbling student-athlete, and was awarded the Glenville State College Most Valuable Player on the acrobatics and tumbling team. Additionally, Durham is a two-time NCATA national event title qualifier in 5-element acro, and a one-time qualifier in duo pyramid, toss heat 1, and heat 2 pyramid.

"First, I would like to thank Dr. Wyatt, Dr. Griffin, and the search committee for trusting me with this program. I am excited to join the Coker staff and very humbled to have the opportunity to help grow Acrobatics and Tumbling. After meeting with faculty and staff I just felt at home and knew Coker was a great place to be. I believe my goals and vision align with what Coker College seeks. My family and I are very excited to make the move, and for this opportunity in our lives. I am grateful to be the inaugural head Acrobatics and Tumbling coach at Coker College and am eager to build a successful and sustainable program! Go Cobras!"

Durham graduated in 2018 with an exercise science degree from Glenville State.
