Chris Jeppson joined the Coker University Sports Medicine staff as an athletic trainer in October of 2013. 

Jeppson came to Coker by way of Harrisonburg, VA, where he worked at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital as a Patient Care Technician before beginning the Physician’s Assistant program at James Madison University.  He resumed his career with athletic training shy of graduating.

Prior to his time at Virginia, Jeppson was the head athletic trainer at Western New Mexico University 2006 - 2008. During this time he also served as adjunct faculty member teaching the sport medicine minor and American Red Cross first aid courses.

Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science while completing the athletic training program at the University of Utah in 2005.  He earned his Master in Health and Human Performance degree at Indiana State University in 2007.

Jeppson lives in Hartsville with his wife, Chandra, and four children: Ethan, Alexis, Hunter and Ryan.  

Chris is the Athletic Trainer for Men's & Women's Cross Country, Men’s Basketball, Men's & Women's Track & Field, and Women's Lacrosse sports teams.
