The Sports Medicine Department at Coker University consists of four full-time certified athletic trainers, a team physician and team orthopedic surgeon. Prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services are provided to all varsity intercollegiate sports.

Sports Medicine Mission Statement

The Coker University Sports Medicine Staff will strive to provide every student-athlete with comprehensive, high quality, and individualized sports medicine health care in a professional, compassionate, and service-oriented manner.  The Sports Medicine Staff adhere to the standards set forth by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Code of Professional Practice; as well as, the statutes and regulations of the State of South Carolina.  We are committed to using all accessible and affordable technology in order to provide the most effective treatments possible.
