Cobra Spotlight

The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. Wrestling

    • 10:30 a.m. – Alderson-Broaddus
    • 12:00 p.m. – Darton
    • 1:30 p.m. – Lake Erie
• Last week’s matches:
  • St. Andrews (W) – 25-13
• Last week the Cobras defeated St. Andrews 25-13 in their inaugural home match in front of a packed house. This week they will hit the road to Newberry College for the Newberry Duals. Coker will face Alderson-Broaddus, Darton and Lake Erie at the duals.

Women’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (H) – Lincoln Memorial – YMCA Day   
• Last week’s games:
  • Queens (W) – 66-64
  • Armstrong Atlantic (L) – 110-86
• The Coker women’s basketball team went 1-1 last week; with a win over SAC rival Queens University of Charlotte. This week the Cobras will host the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial in a SAC game on Saturday. It will be YMCA Day at Coker with all YMCA members receiving free admission to the Cobra basketball games with YMCA ID.

Men’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Benedict
  • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – Lincoln Memorial
• Last week’s games:
  • Queens (L) – 64-54
• The Cobra men’s basketball team will play host to a pair of games this week including a non-conference game versus Benedict on Tuesday evening, and a SAC game on Saturday against Lincoln Memorial. Saturday will be YMCA Day at Coker with all YMCA members receiving free admission to the Cobra basketball games with YMCA ID.
