Cobra Spotlight
The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. Wrestling

- Truett-McConnell (W) – 38-3
- Last week, the Cobra wrestling team improved to 5-0 in dual matches this season with four dominating wins at the Newberry Duals. The Cobras defeated Darton 38-7, Lindsey Wilson 37-6, Southern Virginia 57-0 and Truett-McConnell 38-3. Derrick Nelson, Kevin Thompson and Robert Parland each went 4-0 at the Newberry Duals. This week the Cobras will look to move to 6-0 when they travel to St. Andrews on Wednesday.
Women’s Basketball

- Last week’s games:
- Queens (W) – 83-53
- The Coker women picked up a huge 83-53 South Atlantic Conference victory over Queens University of Charlotte last week. This week the Cobras will host UNC Pembroke in a non-conference game on Wednesday and then they will travel to Lincoln Memorial for a conference game on Saturday.
Men’s Basketball

- Queens (W) – 72-68
- Benedict (L) – 75-59
- The Cobra men went 1-1 last week, picking up an impressive 72-68 South Atlantic Conference win over Queens. This week the men will hit the road to Lincoln Memorial for a league game on Saturday.
