Cobra Spotlight

The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. Wrestling

  • Saturday at 10:00 a.m. (H) – Coker Tri-Match
    • 10:00 a.m. – Coker vs. Brewton Parker
    • 11:30 p.m. – Brewton Parker vs. King
    • 1:00 p.m. – Coker vs. King
• Last week’s matches:
  • Newberry (L) – 53-0
• This week the Cobra wrestlers will play host to a tri-match on Saturday. Coker will take on Brewton Parker at 10 a.m., followed by a match between Brewton Parker and King at 11:30 a.m. and finally Coker and King will take the mat at 1 p.m.

Women’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. – (H) – Queens – Trinity Byrnes Night
  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Anderson
• Last week’s games:
  • Brevard (W) – 78-51
• Last week the Cobra women started 2014 with a decisive win against Brevard. This week they will play host to Queens on Wednesday and then travel to Anderson on Saturday in a pair of SAC contests. Wednesday night will be Trinity Byrnes night at Coker, with all Trinity Byrnes faculty, staff and students receiving free admission to the games with ID.

Men’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. – (H) – Queens – Trinity Byrnes Night
  • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (A) – Anderson
• Last week’s games:
  • Brevard (W) – 108-80
• The men had a dominating 108-80 win over Brevard last week, improving their record at home to 3-1. This week they will play host to Queens on Wednesday and then hit the road to Anderson on Saturday. Wednesday night will be Trinity Byrnes night at Coker, with all Trinity Byrnes faculty, staff and students receiving free admission to the games with ID.
