Cobra Spotlight

The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. This week we take a look at men’s volleyball players; Luke Hansen and Dustin Penn-Henry. Click here for spotlights.

Wrestling

  • This week’s matches:
    • Friday at 10:00 a.m. (H) – Truett-McConnell – Coker Duals
    • Friday at 11:00 a.m. (H) – Brewton Parker – Coker Duals
    • Friday at 3:00 p.m. (H) – King – Coker Duals
  • Last week’s matches:
    • Newberry (L) – 28-6
  • This week the Coker wrestling team hosts the inaugural Coker Duals tournament. Seven teams from around the southeast will compete against each other in the all-day event on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. at the DeLoach Center. A full schedule of the Coker Duals can be found here.

Women’s Basketball

  • This week’s games:
    • Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. (A) – Queens
    • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (H) – Anderson
  • Last week’s games:
    • Brevard (W) – 69-54
  • The Coker women picked up their fourth consecutive victory last week with a win over Brevard. This week the Cobras will travel to Queens on Wednesday and then return home on Saturday to take on Anderson.

Men’s Basketball

  • This week’s games:
    • Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. (A) – Queens
    • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – Anderson
  • Last week’s games:
    • #21 UNC Pembroke (L) – 69-61
    • Brevard (W) – 75-51
  • Last week the Cobras went 1-1 with an impressive South Atlantic Conference win over Brevard. This week the men will take on a pair of SAC opponents by traveling to Queens on Wednesday and then returning home to face Anderson on Saturday.
