Women’s Volleyball Signs Truzzolino
Catie Truzzolino has sign a letter of intent to play women's volleyball at Coker College.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women’s volleyball coach Todd Caughlin announced today that Catie Truzzolino (Pompano Beach, Fla.) has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Cobras.
Truzzolino, a 5-foot-11 middle position player, is a transfer student from Palm Beach State College. She was a member of the Panthers volleyball team and named first team all-conference last season. Truzzolino was a two-sport athlete at Pope John Paul II High School, where she played volleyball and basketball.
“Catie is a great addition to our program,” said Caughlin. “Her athleticism and ability to play across the entire front row is going to make an impact on our offensive systems. She also brings a big block in the middle position, which will help our defensive core be able to execute its game as well.”
Catie is the daughter of Mary Jo Metzger, Gary Truzzolino and Mary Ann King.
