HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College Athletic Department will announce the all-time men's and women's soccer teams live on Saturday (Oct. 6) at 7 p.m. The announcement of the teams will be held in the Harris E. & Louise H. DeLoach Center and can also be streamed live online at www.cokercobras.com.
"This is a special event for Coker as we take a step back in our history and recognize those have given so much to Coker" said Vice President for Athletics Dr. Lynn Griffin. "Hosting this event during alumni weekend provides a chance for all of our alums to reconnect and enjoy time together, while being honored for their skills on the field and in the classroom".
During the presentation, the all-time first, second, and honorable mention men's and women's soccer teams will be revealed following a reception in the DeLoach Center. The Coker College men's and women's soccer teams will also be in action at home, taking on Mars Hill in a South Atlantic Conference matchup at 1 and 3 p.m. on the Coker Athletic Field.
Prior to the announcement of the all-time teams, the Coker College Athletic Department will host its annual alumni games. The baseball and softball alumni games will take place at 10 a.m. on their respective fields, while the men's and women's soccer alumni game will be held inside the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium at 10 a.m. as well. Men's and women's basketball will play their alumni games inside the DeLoach Center at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., respectively. The final alumni game of the day will be men's lacrosse at 7 p.m. on the Coker Athletic Field.
