Coker Adds Wise and Biggers to Athletics Media Relations Team

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker College has named Austin "Audie" Wise and Jessica Biggers as Assistant Directors of Athletics Media Relations, Dr. Lynn Griffin announced today.

Wise makes his way to Coker after most recently spending time with the Florence Redwolves and Francis Marion University. As the Director of Media Relations with the Redwolves, he prepared and coordinated all media releases, designed fan apparel, sold tickets and ticket packages, sponsorships, and suite rentals. With Francis Marion as a freelance public address and play-by-play broadcaster, Wise called for both baseball and softball games. He commentated on live-stream softball games on the Patriots Sport Network and served as the broadcaster for the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Baseball Tournament. Wise has also worked with the Charleston Riverdogs, Cotton States Baseball League, ESPN Radio, and the Columbia (Lexington County) Blowfish.

Wise graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sport Management in August 2016. He will be pursuing a Master of Science in College Athletic Administration at Coker College.

Biggers joins the Cobras after five years at fellow South Atlantic Conference member, Anderson University, in the Sports Information Department. She has been responsible for in-game statistics, athletic event management, live-video streaming, overseen student workers, and community outreach throughout her time as a student worker and staff member.

Originally from Locust, North Carolina, Biggers graduated in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry with a concentration in Missions. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in College Athletic Administration at Coker.

"I am extremely excited to have Audie and Jessica join our Athletics Media Relations team," said Director of Athletics Media Relations Gus Mohlhenrich. "They bring proven experience into their new roles and I'm looking forward to seeing them grow as professionals, while providing excellent media coverage for all of Coker's athletic teams."
