FANG Awards

The Second Annual FANG Awards will take place in the main gymnasium of the DeLoach Center on Wednesday, May 4 at 7 p.m.

The nominees and winners of the 12 FANG awards up for grabs were determined by a combination of coach and administrator voting over a two-week period.

Fans can watch the awards show live online at www.livestream.com/cokercobras, including the preshow beginning at 6:30 p.m. hosted by Aaron Beebe and Julia Rafalowski.

Baseball

  • This week's games:
    • None
  • Last week's games:
    • Wingate – 10-5 (L) – Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship
  • The Cobra baseball team's season came to an end last week with a 10-5 loss to Wingate in the opening round of the Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship. The game also marked head coach Dave Schmotzer's final game as the leader of the Cobras. Schmotzer closes out his 24-year career at Coker with a record of 652-513-2.

Men's Lacrosse

    • None
  • Last week's games:
    • Tusculum (L) – 12-9 – SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship Quarterfinals
  • The Coker men's lacrosse team's season came to an end with a 12-9 loss to Tusculum in the quarterfinals of the SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship. The Cobras finished the season with a record of 5-11 overall and 4-4 in conference play.

Men's Golf

  • This week's tournaments:
    • Monday-Wednesday at NCAA South/Southeast Region Championship at Howie-In-The-Hills, Fla.
  • Last week's tournaments:
    • None
  • Coker's Will Bundy will hit the links at Mission Inn Resort in the 2016 South/Southeast Men's Golf Regional Championship this week. Bundy is competing as an individual. He is one of just eight individual golfers competing from the South/Southeast Regions.
