Baseball

  • This week's games:
    • Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – #6 Wingate – Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship in Kodak, Tenn.
    • Friday at Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship in Kodak, Tenn.
    • Saturday at Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship in Kodak, Tenn.
    • Sunday at Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship in Kodak, Tenn.
  • Last week's games:
    • UNC Pembroke – 11-9 (W)
    • Newberry – 6-5 (W), 4-1 (L), 6-5 (L) – 11 innings
  • The Cobra baseball team went 2-2 last week, as it wrapped up the regular season portion of its schedule. This week the Cobras will hit the road to Kodak, Tenn. for the Pilot/Flying J SAC Baseball Championship. Coker is the No. 7 seed in the tournament and will therefore take on the No. 6 seed Wingate Bulldogs in the opening round on Thursday (Apr. 28) at 7 p.m. at the Tennessee Smokies Stadium. The opening round is single elimination. If Coker wins, they will advance to the double elimination portion of the tournament starting Friday (Apr. 29).

Men's and Women's Tennis

  • This week's matches:
    • None
  • Last week's matches:
    • Queens – 5-1 (L) – Women, 5-3 (L) – Men
  • The Coker tennis teams both lost to Queens in the opening round of the SAC Tennis Championships last week. The women fell 5-1, while the men lost 5-3.  

Softball

  • This week's games:
    • None
  • Last week's games:
    • Newberry – 4-1 (L), 8-0 (L) – 5 innings
    • Mars Hill– 5-0 (L), 12-7 (W)
  • The Cobra softball season came to an end last week after going 1-1 in their final series of the season against Mars Hill.

Men's Lacrosse

  • This week's games:
    • Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – #5 Tusculum – SAC Championship Quarterfinals
    • Thursday at 4:00 p.m. (A) – SAC Championship Semifinals in Charlotte, N.C.
    • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – SAC Championship Finals in Charlotte, N.C.
  • Last week's games:
    • Lincoln Memorial (W) – 12-9
  • The Coker men's lacrosse team picked up a win over Lincoln Memorial to secure the No. 4 seed in the SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship. The Cobras will host the No. 5 seed Tusculum in the quarterfinals of the tournament on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Coker Athletic Field.

Women's Lacrosse

    • None
  • Last week's games:
    • Lincoln Memorial (W) – 23-10
  • The Coker women's lacrosse team closed out its season with a rout of Lincoln Memorial, 23-10.  

Men's Golf

  • This week's tournaments:
    • None
  • Last week's tournaments:
    • SAC Men's Golf Championship – 3 of 12
  • The Cobras earned a third place finish at the SAC Men's Golf Championship last week. Will Bundy took home first place individually and earned a spot in the NCAA South/Southeast Region Tournament May 2-4 in Howie-In-The-Hills, Fla.
