Baseball

  • This week's games:
    • Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. (H) – UNC Pembroke
    • Friday at 3:00 p.m. (H) – Newberry
    • Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (H) – Newberry (DH) – Senior Day
  • Last week's games:
    • Lincoln Memorial – 9-1 (W), 6-4 (L), 4-0 (W)
  • The Cobra baseball team went 2-1 last week, with a series win over Lincoln Memorial. Heading into the final week of the regular season the Cobras are 11-10 in SAC play and are currently tied for third. This week the Cobras will welcome UNC Pembroke to town for a non-conference game on Tuesday. They will then host Newberry in their final regular season league series on Friday and Saturday. This weekend will also mark the final home games that Coach Dave Schmotzer will coach at Coker.

Men's and Women's Tennis

  • This week's matches:
    • Thursday at 9:00 a.m. (A) – Queens (women) – SAC Championship @ Brevard
    • Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (A) – Queens (men) – SAC Championship @ Brevard
  • Last week's matches:
    • Mars Hill – 5-4 (W) – Women, 8-1 (W) – Men
  • The Coker tennis teams went secured their spots in the SAC Tennis Championships with a pair of wins over Mars Hill last week. This week the Cobras will travel to Brevard, N.C. to take part in the SAC Tennis Championships. The women's team will take on the No. 3 seed Queens at 9 a.m. on Thursday, while the men will also take on the No. 3 seed Queens at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Softball

  • This week's games:
    • Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Newberry (DH)
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (H) – Mars Hill (DH) – Senior Day
  • Last week's games:
    • Lenoir-Rhyne – 2-0 (L), 5-2 (L)
    • Brevard – 4-1 (W), 8-4 (W)
  • The Cobra softball team went 2-2 last week with a sweep of Brevard. This week they will wrap up the regular season portion of their schedule by traveling to Newberry on Tuesday and welcoming Mars Hill to Hartsville on Saturday.

Men's Lacrosse

  • This week's games:
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (A) – Lincoln Memorial
  • Last week's games:
    • #19 Queens (L) – 16-5
  • The Coker men's lacrosse team will wrap-up regular season play on Saturday by traveling to Lincoln Memorial. Currently, the Cobras are in fourth place in the SAC standings. The top six teams advance to the SAC Men's Lacrosse Championship.   

Men's and Women's Track & Field

  • This week's meets:
    • None
  • Last week's meets:
    • SAC Track & Field Championship – 6 of 8 – women, 6 of 9 - men
  • The Cobras had two outstanding showings at the 2015 SAC Track & Field Championships last week, as both teams finished sixth overall. Charity Snelling led the way for the women capturing second place in the high jump and third place in the 400m hurdles. Briana Nixon also earned a second place finish in the 400m dash. The women's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams each came in third as well. On the men's side, Paul Taylor won the 400m hurdles, while teammate Naim Fareed came in third, and the 4x400 relay team placed second.

Women's Lacrosse

  • This week's games:
    • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (A) – Lincoln Memorial
  • Last week's games:
    • Chowan (W) – 16-9
    • Queens (L) – 19-6
  • The Coker women's lacrosse team went 1-1 last week with a non-conference win over Chowan. This week the Cobras hit the road to Lincoln Memorial for their final regular season game of the season on Saturday.

Women's Golf

  • This week's tournaments:
    • None
  • Last week's tournaments:
    • SAC Women's Golf Championship – 8 of 12
  • The Coker women's golf team closed out the 2016 season with an eighth place finish at the SAC Women's Golf Championship. Angela Luna led the way for the Cobras with a 14th place finish.

Men's Golf

  • This week's tournaments:
    • Sunday – Tuesday at SAC Men's Golf Championship at Etowah, N.C.
  • Last week's tournaments:
    • None
  • The Cobras hit the links for the SAC Men's Golf Championship in Etowah, N.C. starting on Sunday, April 17 and running through Tuesday, April 19. The Cobras are in fourth place after the first day of play. Will Bundy and Ethan Cairns are in a tie for tenth place individually, after shooting opening rounds of 74.
