Men's Volleyball

  • This week's games:
    • None
  • Last week's games:
    • Emmanuel (L) – 3-2 (25-23, 29-31, 22-25, 25-16, 13-15)
    • Belmont Abbey (L) – 3-1 (24-26, 16-25, 25-20, 20-25)
  • The Coker men's volleyball team's season came to end last week. The Cobras closed out the year with a record of 14-9. Four seniors played their final matches at Coker, Luke Grupe Luke Hansen, Leshon Alexander and Liam Flaherty. Hansen finished his career ranked No. 1 all-time at Coker in kills (851) and in digs (453). Alexander closed out his career as Coker's all-time leader in solo blocks (47) and No. 2 in block assists (135), while Grupe is Coker's all-time leader in block assists (144) and No. 2 in solo blocks (36). Flaherty also ranks among Coker's all-time stat leaders, finishing his career No. 2 all-time in digs with 364.

Baseball

  • This week's games:
    • Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. (A) – St. Andrews
    • Friday at 3:00 p.m. (H) – Lincoln Memorial
    • Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (H) – Lincoln Memorial (DH)
  • Last week's games:
    • Claflin – 15-10 (W)
    • Mars Hill – 6-3 (W), 5-4 (L), 11-7 (L)
  • The Cobra baseball team went 2-2 last week with a non-conference win over Claflin and a league win over Mars Hill. This week the Cobras will travel to St. Andrews on Tuesday and then return home for a three-game SAC series with Lincoln Memorial on Friday and Saturday.

Men's and Women's Tennis

  • This week's matches:
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (H) – Mars Hill – Senior Day
  • Last week's matches:
    • Tusculum – 8-1 (L) – Women, 7-2 (L) – Men
    • Wingate – 8-1 (L) – Women, 6-3 (L) – Men
    • Anderson – 5-4 (W) – Women, 7-2 (W) – Men
    • Brevard – 9-0 (W) – Women, 8-1 (W) – Men
  • The Coker tennis teams went 2-2 last week with wins over Anderson and Brevard. Both teams are now 5-5 in SAC play. This week the Cobras will welcome Mars Hill to town for their final regular season matches of the season on Saturday.  Prior to the start of the matches Coach Simpson and the Cobras will honor their senior tennis players, Jessi Campos, Bailey Palmer, Ragan Palmer, William Marrafao, and Tom Sizeland.

Softball

  • This week's games:
    • Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. (A) – Lenoir-Rhyne (DH)
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (H) – Brevard (DH)
  • Last week's games:
    • Wingate – 6-1 (L), 9-0 (L) – 5 innings
    • Carson-Newman – 10-1 (L) – 5 innings, 5-3 (W)
  • The Cobra softball team returns to action this week with a pair of SAC series. They will begin the week by traveling to Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday. They will then welcome Brevard to town to wrap-up the week on Saturday.

Men's Lacrosse

  • This week's games:
    • Saturday at 8:00 p.m. (H) – Queens – Senior Night
  • Last week's games:
    • #15 Belmont Abbey (L) – 16-6
    • Tusculum (W) – 11-10 (OT) 
  • The Coker men's lacrosse team picked up a SAC win over Tusculum last week. Brooks Long netted the game-winner in overtime to lead the Cobras to victory. This week Coker will host Queens in its final regular season home game of the year. Prior to the game Coach Olliver and the Cobras will recognize their four seniors, Josh Smith, Adam Zinsmiester, Mike Martiello and Shane Wilson.  

Men's and Women's Track & Field

  • This week's meets:
    • Friday - Saturday at SAC Track & Field Championships at Hickory, N.C.
  • Last week's meets:
    • JC Smith Invitational
  • The Cobras had two good showings at the JC Smith Invitational last week. The men brought home seven top-10 finishes, while the women's team three top-10 placers. This week the Cobras travel to Hickory, N.C. and Lenoir-Rhyne University to compete in the SAC Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday.

Women's Lacrosse

  • This week's games:
    • Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. (A) – Chowan
    • Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (H) – Queens – Senior Night
  • Last week's games:
    • Columbia (W) – 17-9
    • Tusculum (L) – 14-10
  • The Coker women's lacrosse team went 1-1 last week with a non-conference win over Columbia. This week the Cobras will travel to Chowan on Wednesday, and then return home for their final regular season home game of the season on Saturday against Queens. Saturday's game will be senior night and prior to the start of the game the women will honor their three seniors, Ashlyn Burgett, Cierra Davis and Erica Snyder.  

Women's Golf

  • This week's tournaments:
    • Sunday – Tuesday at SAC Women's Golf Championship at Monroe, N.C.
  • Last week's tournaments:
    • None
  • This week the women will hit the links for the SAC Women's Golf Championship starting on Sunday, April 10 and continuing until Tuesday, April 12. After the opening round of play on Sunday (Apr. 10) the women are in 6th place.

Men's Golf

  • This week's tournaments:
    • Sunday – Tuesday at SAC Men's Golf Championship at Etowah, N.C.
  • Last week's tournaments:
    • None
  • The Cobras hit the links for the SAC Men's Golf Championship in Etowah, N.C. starting on Sunday, April 17 and running through Tuesday, April 19.
