Why did you choose Coker? I chose Coker because the college had a wrestling team; the classes were small, so I knew I could get more of an individual focus from my teachers; and I already had friends who were Coker Cobras.
What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? My best moment athletically at Coker is whenever I win a race during conditioning because it gives a feeling of accomplishment.
What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)? My best non-athletic moment at Coker would be when I attended Coker Connections in the summer and I got a feel of the college life before freshman orientation.
Which athletic team would you play on at Coker other than your own? I would play on the volleyball team.

Why did you choose Coker? I was really impressed with how much success the wrestling program had in one year.
What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? Seeing the wrestling room for the first time.
What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)? Arriving on campus

What is something people may not know about you? I have the memory of a newborn baby
Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? Jamel, like “camel”.. but Jamel. Nobody ever pronounces my name correct, and this happens to be one of the many incorrect pronunciations that stuck.
