HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Coker College wrestler John Watts has been named the SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for January.
The freshman out of Willacoochee, Georgia posted a perfect 7-0 record over the month of January while wrestling at 125 pounds. Throughout the month, Watts picked up wins over Truett-McConnel, Mercyhurst, Newberry, Limestone, Emmanuel, Belmont Abbey, and Queens.
John is Pre-Med major and is the son of Jessica Baker, Cade Paulk, and Amy Paulk.
