Darronehsia Lott, Women's Cross Country/Track & Field

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's cross country runner Darroneshia Lott was named SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2017. This is Lott's third time earning the award as she was named Student-Athlete of the Month in September and October.

Lott reached the NCAA Championships with a 3rd place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional, setting a new Coker record in the process. At the NCAA Championships, she finished 38th out of 247 Division II runners, becoming the first Coker Cross Country All-American. Lott again broker her 6k record with a time of 21:41.7.

Lott now transitions into a new season with the Coker track and field program moving forward. Within the first event of the indoor winter season, Lott set a new Coker record in the women’s 800-meter run, with the time of 2:11.53, placing first overall in the race.

She is a physical education major from Pensacola, Fla. and the daughter of Michele and Darron Lott.

The women’s track and field team will next compete in the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Sat. Jan. 13.
