HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker College wrestler Luis Peguero was voted SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2017.

Peguero collected a record of 10-2 in the month of December with five decisions, three pins, one major decision, and a medical forfeit. He earned third place in the 197 weight class at the Midwest Classic hosted by the University of Indianapolis. Peguero is now ranked 10th in his class in the latest NWCA poll.

The Tampa, Fla. native is a business major and the son of Luis Peguero.
