HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's track and field athlete Darroneshia Lott has been named the SPC Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Month for April. This is Lott's fifth such honor in the 2017-18 season. 

Lott was named a SAC AstroTurf Track Athlete of the Week early in April. She ran the second fastest 800-meter time in Division II at the Virginia Grand Prix, earning automatic qualifying status for the NCAA Division II Championships, while also a provisional time in the 1500-meter (ninth in Division II). At the SAC Championships, Lott finished first in the 800-meter and 1500-meter races and second in the 4x400-meter relay. The Pensacola, Fla. native collected a second place finish in the 400-meter and third in the 4x400-meter relay at the Phoenix Invitational.

Lott is the daughter of Michele and Darron Lott and is a physical education major.
